DigiExpress is a forward-thinking logistic company dedicated to pushing the boundaries of technology. We are seeking a talented and experienced Logistics Area Manager to work in our dynamic team.

 Responsibilities:

•        Lead and manage end-to-end logistics operations across multiple hubs, ensuring performance, compliance, and operational excellence.

•        Oversee daily hub performance, fleet utilization, and manpower planning.

•        Ensure adherence to company SOPs, operational KPIs, and quality standards.

•        Ensure performance data is accurate, consistent, and regularly reported.

•        Drive accountability for achieving regional performance targets.

•        Lead, mentor, and develop Hub Managers and Supervisors to achieve operational goals.

•        Conduct performance evaluations and identify development needs for direct reports.

•        Ensure effective communication and team alignment across the region.

•        Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.

•        Ensure compliance with HR policies and labor regulations across hubs.

•        Ensure safe and secure handling of goods, equipment, and facilities.

•        Implement continuous improvement initiatives to increase process efficiency and quality.

•        Manage the regional operations budget and monitor cost efficiency.

•        Analyse cost drivers (fleet, manpower, maintenance, fuel, etc.) and implement cost control measures.

•        Ensure optimal use of company assets and third-party logistics partners.

•        Coordinate with the Central Operations, Planning, Fleet, and HR teams to ensure smooth execution of logistics plans.

•        Represent the region in national operational meetings and business reviews.

•        Support the launch of new logistics services, projects, or expansions in the region.

Skills:

·       Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration.

·       Minimum 8–10 years of experience in logistics or operations management, including at least 3 years in a regional or multi-site leadership role.

·       Proven experience managing large-scale logistics or distribution operations. Strong understanding of logistics processes, fleet operations, and KPI management.

·       Excellent leadership, communication, and team development skills.

·       Data-driven decision-making and problem-solving capabilities.

·       Proficiency in MS Office, ERP, WMS, and performance dashboard systems.

·       Ability to travel frequently within assigned region.
